None of LUSH’s shampoos are sulfate free. Although they’re still natural and good for your hair.

However, if you want to wash your hair with something that is natural, I would suggest honey. It has great anti-bacterial qualities and it makes your hair feel soft and silky smooth. Give it a try.

Hey there, how is it when i see reviews on youtube of lush products some of them come in clear containers as oppose to the black pots i have at home?

That depends!

Lush mostly have black pots and some clear ones in their vast range of products. The ones with clear pots are the shower jellies. They have clear pots because they resemble shower gel and LUSH’s shower gels come in clear bottles.

What I think is confusing you is LUSH NA’s containers for samples and solid face wash. They are very big and clear, a lot bigger than the ones most of us are used to.

Hey! I have a question about the lotions. I'm a swimmer and my skin get incredibly dry so i go through lotions like crazy! I want to know if lush has something that is really moisturizing but smells clean but pretty.

If you want something that is really moisturising then a lotion is not for you. Thick/buttery formula = more moisture. Lotion is not (usually) thick at all! If I were you I’d go for one of their massagebars. They are very moisturising, being based on hard, natural butters and oils. They also cost less than a LUSH lotion.

Here are a few with a “Clean but pretty” scent;

  • Each Peach - smells like citrus
  • Peace - very relaxing
  • Therapy - relaxing and mood lifting
  • Wiccy Magic Muscles - great for “after workout” use

I have a LUSH store maybe 2 hours away and I've been in there and I know what I want from their store. Would you say that it is better to order online? Or should I make the 2 hour trip to the store?

That depends! Would the gas cost more than the shipping? Because if it would then I would just order what I wanted, instead! Also, do you have the time to go on a two hour trip? Would you be able to do something else whilst being away?

The quality of the products won’t differ between going to one of the shops or ordering online. They all have an experation date.

Hello!

There’s only one shower gel with the same scent as Godmother and that is Snow Fairy shower gel. It’s only around for christmas holidays, tho. I have a post dedicated to the scent on my blog called Snow Fairy Extravaganza, you should check it out!

You don’t have to mix a shower gel with a soild soap, they do the same job! But if you’d want to mix it up with some fresh and some sweet I would try to mix Happy Hippy shower gel, it has grape juice and other lovely citrus fruits in it. The thought of sweet candy mixed with citrus just works, according to me.

Sorry about the semi hiatus

I know I haven’t been around for a while, not blogging as much as I used to nor uploading any cocktails or such. This is because I’ve simply not had the time to do so. Between school and personal problems I have not had the energy or motivation to maintain this blogs high standards. It truly is a piece of work.

I just need some time to get motivated and to find time to do the things I want to do with this blog. I have such high hopes and ambitions for it.
